This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and what you can control. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts or photos, and we do not sell your data.

Location permission (Duel mode only)

The app asks for the Location permission only when you open Duel mode. Duel connects two phones directly over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi using Google Nearby Connections, and Android requires the Location permission before an app can scan for nearby devices.

• The app does not read your GPS position or any location coordinates.
• No location is stored on your phone or sent to us or to anyone else.
• During a duel, only game data travels directly between the two phones: moves, scores and a random player name such as "Jedi 1234". It does not pass through our servers.
• You can refuse the permission. Everything except Duel keeps working, and you can turn it off at any time in Android Settings > Apps > LightSaber > Permissions.

Other permissions

• Camera: only to switch the flashlight on as part of the saber effect. The app never takes photos or video.
• Bluetooth / Nearby devices / Wi-Fi state: to find and connect to the other phone in Duel mode.
• Notifications: an optional daily reminder that your reward is ready. You can turn it off in Android settings.
• Vibrate, Run at startup: vibration on swings and re-arming the daily reminder after a restart.
• Internet: ads, analytics, purchases and remote settings described below.

Information collected by third-party services

• Google Firebase Analytics: how the app is used (for example screens and features used, session length, swing counts, rewards claimed), device model, Android version, app version, an app instance ID and an approximate region derived from the IP address. We use it to improve the app.
• Google AdMob: shows ads and may use the advertising ID, IP address and device information to deliver and measure ads. In regions where consent is required, the app asks for your consent first (Google User Messaging Platform); you can change it in the app under Settings > Ad privacy settings. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings.
• Firebase Remote Config: an app instance ID, used to adjust game settings (such as prices or events).
• Google Play Billing: the "Remove ads" purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive your payment details.

These services are provided by Google and follow Google's Privacy Policy (how Google uses data from partner apps). Data is sent encrypted (HTTPS).

Information kept only on your phone

Your settings, coins, unlocked items, achievements, streaks, scores and Duel player name are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Your choices

• Deny or revoke any permission in Android settings.
• Change ad consent in the app's Settings, or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings.
• Uninstall the app to remove all data stored on the device.
• To request deletion of analytics data linked to your app instance, contact us using the developer email on our Google Play page.

Policy updates

We may update this policy, for example when the app gets new features. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Questions: please contact us through the developer email on our Google Play page.
